I love karting and Dubai Autodrome was a dream for me and I didn't have to prepare anything because it's all included in the fee and you don't have to book in advance either, just show up there, pay and you're ready to go!

Me and my friends got there around noon...what a perfect timing! It was soooo hot!!! But the good thing is that because it's so sunny, there weren't that many people there. We went for the "Arrive & Drive" sessions which costs AED 100 for a 15-minute drive. We got dressed in the safety kit including helmet, overalls and gloves provided in the dressing room, ohhhh by the way you have to bring your own sports shoes because otherwise you have to buy one there. The track was fun! There were some S turns, hairpins and rumble strips. It was also really nice and clean, no rubbers and not slippery at all, I think it's because we were one of the first group of people to race that day...so I guess it's worth it to get there early.

Getting there:

Getting to Dubai Autodrome is easy, it's located at Motorcity and if you come from Sheikh Zayed road just exit at interchange 4 at Exit 39 and follow the sign to Bab Al Shams. Go thru 2 roundabouts and when you get to Dubai Land, turn right into the main entrance and then just follow the sign to the Kartdrome!
